Do we have a future in Cricket?

In a country of a billion people, if the question is whether or not we have the talent in the country, then the answer has to be a resounding "Yes we damn well do!" What then is wrong with Indian cricket at present? Why have we hit an all time low form then if there are young guns sitting out there who can take on the best in the world?
Is something wrong with the domestic format of the game in the country where talent doesnt really come to light? Or is it the ad industry which makes miilionaires on Indian cricketers before they have ever won their country an important final match? Or then, is it a problem with the very Indian sporting temperament? Is it that this very team is good enough to win or at least reach the semis of the world cup, and the only problem is that they just cant take the nerve of an important match?
Or, maybe, it is actually a combination of all these factors! Forgive the exaggeration, but Indian cricket, as of this day, is a patient with multiple organ failures. I am not saying it lies on its deathbed, but then the diagnosis and the treatment need to happen soon. We can no more forgive and forget, hoping that things will get better and what has happened was just plain bad luck. We need significant changes, we need a revolution of sorts, more of the system, in my personal opinion, than of the individuals involved. It is time that a new era of sporting temperament and change must dawn in this country.
